Free Medical Clinic Opened by
Church in Karachi, Pakistan
In this season of COVID-19 pandemic, a small group of Christians looked all around them and saw a great need. Yes, people needed food. Yes, people needed money for basic essentials. Yes, the children were crying, and the elderly were dying. How can one small group of believers respond to all those needs? They were guided by their recent experience in Christian Workers Bible Training. They learned that the way of obedience is the way that brings success for the Lord.
As they looked around their small church, they found one particular need that was not being met by any other organization, including the government mandated healthcare. In obedient response to God’s leading, they opened a SHARE Free Medical Clinic that would give them the opportunity to reach people with the Gospel. Our great God caused them to imagine the “impossible.” How can a small band of Christians open a medical clinic? And it’s free! They were determined not to leave anyone behind. Soon the whole community would witness what the Christians could give them, which was more than anyone else could do.
Our Pakistan Country Coordinator, Pastor B (name withheld) started this program, and many Muslim people heard the Word of God and received free medical care. Praise God for breaking down barriers.
