A few years ago, Bishop Aynaki Moksi visited an island off of the coast of DR CONGO. A small group of Christians was meeting under a tree for Sunday worship services. They were deep in poverty without electricity or running water. Bishop Moksi presented the concept of SHARE Evangelism, but they weren’t sure it would work for them. Due to travel restrictions, Bishop Moksi has not been able to return to check on them since COVID-19 has struck so hard.
Recently, someone from that island came to meet with Bishop Moksi again. He reports that the church is thriving and has a large building that they built themselves out of local resources. They are now working to bring electricity and running water to the homes in their area. He reported that it would not have happened without SHARE. We thank God for the blessings that SHARE has brought to the island.
